NetApp Data OnTap Administration (Hands on Technical Class)

Kurssin tavoitteet

This three day course covers the basic administrative topics on NetApp Storage appliances running the Data OnTap operating system. The course is bias towards the Windows operating system however some UNIX functionality is covered.

Day 3
• Upgrading OnTap
• ASIS (Advanced Single Instance Storage)
• Hardware Product Range (including upgrades)
• Autosupport
• Multistore (vfiler)
• OSSV (Open Systems SnapVault)
• SMBR (Single Mailbox Restore)
• V-Series (Gateway Filer)

* NB: Course delivery is of a workshop nature.
Practical lab guide is provided.

Kohderyhmä

System administrators/engineers responsible for the day-to-day management of the NetApp storage system.

Vaatimukset

Basic understanding of storage and networking technologies
Basic knowledge of Windows 2003 and/or Linux Administration
Basic knowledge of client/server and networking terminology including TCP/IP.
